Gerald D. “Jerry” Heller, 67, of Columbia passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster he was the son of the late, Irvin B. and Susanna Metzler Heller. Jerry worked as a carpenter for various woodworking companies in the area. He was the husband of Linda Jarrett Heller. Jerry enjoyed riding the lawn tractor, reading and Gospel music. He attended the Calvary Bible Church in Wrightsville.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Linda are seventeen children, Kathy Mills of Columbia, David (April) Heller of Lancaster, Amanda Fennigan of Carlisle, Kimberly at home, Timothy Heller of Lititz, Jessica Heller of Mount Joy, Keri of Lancaster, Rusty, Harmony, Kylee, Bethanna, Heidi, Candy, Mandy, Savanha, Dylan, Noah all at home, six grandchildren, five brothers, Donald (Annamary) Heller, Irvin B. Jr. (Chris) Heller, Harry (Michelle) Heller, Jim (Carol) Heller, Warren (Chris) Heller, and three sisters, Shirley (Wilmer) Musser, Ruthie (Irvin) Blank, Lorraine (Walter) Petersheim.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at Calvary Bible Church, 125 Calvary Church Road, Wrightsville, on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be private in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jerry’s memory may be sent to Buch Funeral Home, Inc., 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy PA 17552 would be greatly appreciated to help defray expenses.
