Gary L. Shifflett

Gary L. Shifflett, 69, of Wrightsville, died peacefully surrounded by his family, Saturday March 9, 2019 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Robert and Lottie (Raynes) Shifflett. Gary was a truck driver for Yellow Freight for many years before retiring, and then work as a shuttle driver for Enterprise Car Co., York. Gary loved NASCAR, car shows, and taking care of his Camaro. Gary also enjoyed cheering for the “Phillies” and “Eagles”, and grilling his “world famous” chicken, but his greatest joy came by spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters Kelly, wife of Christopher Barrett, Marietta, Kristy Neideigh, Elizabethtown; six grandchildren Ava, Layla, Jordan,Alex, Hunter, & Bailey; a sister Debra Shifflett, Palmyra; and a brother Craig husband of Cathy Shifflett, Green Bay, WI.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at the John S. Sell Memorial chapel, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM. There will be a time of visitation with the family at Sell chapel from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
