Gary B. Glouner, 76, Manheim, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday May 30, 2011 at his residence. He was the husband of Jane (Lutz) Glouner, and they would have celebrated 56 years of marriage in July. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late John R. Sr. and Pauline (Reinfried) Glouner. Gary was an electrician for Armstrong World Industries of Lancaster for 42 years before retiring in 1993. Gary proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, and enjoyed fishing, bicycling, riding motorcycle, hunting, and being outdoors. Surviving in addition to his wife Jane are four daughters, Kimberly L. wife of Larry E. Huber of Mount Joy, Kelly J. Glouner of Lancaster, Roxanne R. Glouner of Lititz, Kendall L. wife of Christopher L. Shaffer of Perkasie, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a brother John R. Jr. husband of Betty Glouner of Naples, FL. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday June 2, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. Interment with military honors in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private. There will be a public viewing on Thursday at the funeral home from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
