Frederick O. "Fred" Gabriel

Frederick O. “Fred” Gabriel, 79, of Manheim went home to be with His Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Lancashire Hall. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sadie Sholley Gabriel. He was married 46 years to Doris A. Witman Gabriel. Fred retired from the Hershey Company and he was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim where he taught Sunday school. Fred served in the U.S. Airforce and he enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Kathy Gabriel of Georgia, a son, Fred husband of Beth Gabriel, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

The funeral service will be held at Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Ruhl’s United Methodist Cemetery.
