Frank Wayne Carotto

Frank Wayne Carotto, 83 of Elizabethtown, died peacefully, Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Suzanne I, (Ober) Carotto and they celebrated 61 years of marriage last June. Born in Girardville, he was the son of the Joseph and Pauline (Mervine) Corotto. Frank was employed as a Master Pipe Fitter at Armstrong World Industries and retired after 32 years of service. He was a faithful member Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elizabethtown where he served as a Greeter and Server of Elements. He was a proud member of the Elizabethtown Fire Co. for 63 years, and a member of the Tri-County Boat Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed sharing his bounty with others. Frank was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, and loyal friend. 

  Surviving in addition to his wife Suzanne is a daughter Maria, (Carotto) wife of Christopher Sheidy, Lancaster, and a grandson Wolfgang R. P. Von Sheidy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Harold, and Louis Carotto, and a sister, Joanne, (Carotto) Garlin.
