Frances H. Heisey, 91, of Manheim, died peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Barbara Ann Hess Shenk. A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Robert S. Heisey who died in 2006. Frances was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manheim; and a member of the Manheim High School graduating class of 1942. In her early years she was an active member of the Lititz Springs Chapter #499, Order of the Eastern Star. Frances enjoyed reading, working on jig saw puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters: Joan M. Zercher of Mount Gretna, Barbara J. Musser of Lebanon, six grandchildren: Michael J. husband of Stacy Zercher, Melissa J. wife of Brian Ferrari, Jessica M. wife of Matthew Pohronezny, Joshua M. Zercher companion of Kristi Martarano, Matthew S. husband of Brooke Musser, Meghan Musser, 14 great grandchildren: Kailey, Hanna, Antonio, Vincenzo, Giovanni, David, Michaela, Lilly, Calla Rae, Angelo, Enzia, Orazio, Cameron, and Grace. Preceding her in death is a son-in-law, Michael J. Zercher, three sisters: Blanche Werner, Verna Groff, Suie Ginder, and four brothers: Samuel, Aaron, Martin, and Henry Shenk.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Frances’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 12:00 Noon. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private in Manheim Fairview Cemetery.
