Frances B. Shelly

Frances B. Shelly, 92, of Lititz, and formerly of Brickerville, died peacefully on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Frances was the wife of the late Gerald H. “Chop” Shelly who died in August of this year; her first husband was the late Roy F. “Bud” Shelly who died in December of 1988. For many years Frances was the manager of White Shield Department Store in Lititz. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from Shippensburg State College. Frances was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim. Her interests included baking, cooking, and Ballroom dancing. Frances loved baseball, and was a passionate Philadelphia Phillies fan; rooting for “her team” every chance she could.

Surviving is a son, Robert F. Shelly of Missouri City, TX., five grandchildren: George Marros, Andra Rodriguez, Jennifer Rodriguez, Jo Ann Robertson, Robert F. Shelly Jr., seven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is a daughter, Patricia Marros, and two sisters.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Warwick Township.
