Faye H. Kreiner

Faye H. Kreiner, 87, of Manheim, died peacefully and went home to be with her Lord on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Mount Joy Township, she was the daughter of the late Maria S. Hollinger Kreiner and the late Herman G. Kreiner. For over 45 years Faye was employed in the office for the former Raymark Industries, Manheim. Throughout her life Faye had a passion for photography. She was well known locally as a wedding photographer for 25 years; and was the owner and operator of the former Faye’s Photos in Manheim. She was a faithful member of Chiques Church of the Brethren, Manheim, and was a Sunday school teacher in her early years. Faye was a 1944 graduate of Elizabethtown High School. She was a passionate volunteer for the local chapter of Heifer International. Faye helped with Meals on Wheels in the Manheim Area, and facilitated with Junior Achievement. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association and active with a local investment club. Faye’s interests included: travel, photography, reading, restoring/refinishing furniture, and playing bridge with her friends.

Surviving are two sisters: Allegra H.wife of Vernon Leininger of Reinholds, Shirley L. Smith of Manheim, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is a brother, Dale H. Kreiner.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday evening from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM with additional viewing at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
