Faye E. Rowe

Faye C. Rowe, 80, formerly of Lititz and Country Manor Assisted Living, Jerome, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, PA. Born in Sunnyside, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marl G. and Bertha M. Shaud Williams. She was the wife of the late Harold G. Rowe Sr. who died in 2009. A homemaker most of her life, Faye also worked at the former Hamilton Watch Company, Lancaster and she enjoyed housecleaning for family and friends. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Her interests included playing bingo, garage sales, making crafts and Christmas cookies. She enjoyed attending church at Country Manor Assisted Living and loved to spend time with her family; especially her grandchildren. Surviving are five children, Fay A. wife of Kenneth Cole, Harold G. Rowe Jr., Patty J. Gainer all of Lititz, Penny J. wife of Lester C. Roberts Jr. of Johnstown and Brandon S. Rowe of Texas, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two sisters, Marlene Way of Quarryville and Illamae wife of Roger Armstrong of Florida. She was preceded in death by one sister. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
