Everett B. McGinnis, 92, of Lititz, passed away at his home on August 3, 2015. He was the son of the late Parke and Ethel Bryson McGinnis. He and his wife Doris Groff McGinnis would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary August 5th.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater.
Everett retired from Armstrong, where he worked as a foreman for 42 years.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife, bowling and playing cards, but his favorite pastime was going to the horseraces and spending time at Hollywood Casino.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Donna and his son, Michael, both of Lititz; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Family and Friends are invited to the Richard H. Heisey Funeral Home, 216 S. Broad St., Lititz, on Friday August 7th for a viewing from 1 to 2 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm. Interment will be in Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster.
