Evelyn W. Fowler

Evelyn W. Fowler, 95, formerly of Manheim passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Norman H. and Ida Floyd Will. She was the wife of the late Philip D. Fowler Jr. who died in 2005 and her first husband, the late Joseph F. McMichael who died in 1961. Evelyn worked in the sales department for UGI, Lancaster for seven years. She also helped her first husband at the former J.F. McMichael Heating & Air Conditioning, Manheim. Evelyn was a member of the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, Elizabethtown, and Women's Club of Manheim where she was chairperson of the finance committee. She volunteered with her husband for several hospital auxiliaries. Her interests included cooking, flower gardening, and reading. Surviving are three sons, Joseph F. husband of Judith McMichael of Mount Joy, Thomas L. husband of Ginger McMichael of Prattville, Alabama, Philip D. III husband of Teresa Fowler of High Point, North Carolina, seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Jean Fowler Green and a brother, Clyde F. Will. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. Please omit flowers.
