Evelyn I. Gantz

Evelyn I. Gantz, 83, of Manhiem passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Anna Kopp Capwell. She was the wife of the late Jacob K. Gantz who died in 2010. A homemaker, Evelyn enjoyed flower gardening and crocheting. Surviving is a daughter, Gloria A. wife of Warren Meiskey and a son, Dennis E. husband of Margaret M. Lightstone Gantz both of Manheim, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a brother, Donald Capwell of Lebanon and three sisters, Maryann wife of Cloyd Bucher of Hopeland, Lorraine wife of George Smith of Ephrata and Martha wife of Robert Weitzel of Denver. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Walmer and two brothers, Robert and Harold Capwell. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
