Ethel Mae Deist

Ethel Mae Deist, 92, of Manheim passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Somerset, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Woy Emert. She was the wife of the late James Daniel Deist who died in 1983. Ethel worked as a seamstress at several garment factories. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church of Manheim. Surviving is a daughter, Sandra L. Bowser of Manheim, one granddaughter, Lana Deist of Lititz, two great grandchildren, Rebecca Deist of Penryn, Robert Deist Jr. of Manheim and two brothers, David W. Emert of Somerset and Charles R. Emert of Ohio. She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Roy Deist, two grandsons, Robert and Jerome Deist, two brothers, Monroe and John Emert, and three sisters, Pearl Scheaffer, Thelma Kowalski and Ruth Dellesandro. Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Interment in Jenner's Crossroads Cemetery, Somerset County. Please omit flowers.
