Erik M. Horst, 30, of Elizabethtown, died unexpectedly Thursday December 9, 2010 at his home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Joseph and Cindy (Horst) Clay of Elizabethtown. Erik was an Emergency Medical Technician with the Lawn Ambulance Co. He attended Grace Chapel of Elizabethtown. He enjoyed singing, computers, and playing cards, especially Rummy and 31.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters Joleen Clay of Bainbridge, Jennifer Clay of Mt. Joy Twp., maternal grandmother Delores Byers of Mt. Joy Twp. and two nieces Katie and Elizabeth Funk and two nephews Bradley Clay, and Brandon Funk. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Arthur Horst, and maternal step-grandfather Paul Byers.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 West Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Thursday December 16, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Mel Weaver officiating. Interment will be in Goods Mennonite Cemetery, West Donegal Twp. There will be a time of visitation with the family at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
