Eric L. Zug

September 12, 1978 — February 25, 2014

Eric L. Zug, 35, formerly of Manheim, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Jo Ann Becker Zug of East Petersburg and the late Ronald L. Zug. Eric lived nine years at (TTSR) Training Towards Self Reliance, Clarion, Pa. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim. He enjoyed yard work, snow shoveling and the outdoors. His interests included music, video games, work books and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved to spend time with his family and friends; especially his niece and nephew.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a sister, Erin S. wife of Mark A. Layser of East Petersburg, niece, Eliza and nephew, Andrew Layser.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at Salem United Methodist Church, 140 North Penn Street, Manheim on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 4:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be a public viewing at the church on Tuesday from 2:30 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Eric’s memory to (TTSR) Training Towards Self Reliance, 2500 Canoe Ripple Road, Sligo, PA 16255.
