Emma Jane (Quick) Williams, 95, of Lititz, passed away at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy on September 10, 2015. She was born in Wallaceton and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Agnes (Hummel) Quick. Emma shared 71 years of marriage with the late Roy B. Williams, who passed away in March of 2014.
A 1940 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Emma helped in the war effort making parachutes and shell casings in Lebanon during World War II, while her husband was serving overseas. She was one of the first employees at the Warner Lambert plant in Lititz, where she was a group leader.
Emma was a member of the Lititz United Methodist Church and was loved by all who knew her. Soft spoken, but feisty, she was always smiling and liked to crochet and put puzzles together. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandson and her recently born great granddaughter.
She will be lovingly missed by her son, Terry R. Williams, husband of Nancy Ann Shelly, Gates Mills, OH; granddaughter, Nicole, wife of Scott Kesten, J.D., Skokie, IL; grandson, Dr. T. Ryan Williams, husband of Stephanie, Harrisburg; great grandson, Joshua Kesten; and great granddaughter, Liza Williams.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Maines; brothers, James and Kenneth Quick; and step brothers, Albert, Leroy and John Shomo.

There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 am at the Lititz United Methodist Church, 201 Market St., Lititz, on Monday, October 12th, followed by the Memorial Service with the Reverend Gerald M. McGrath officiating. Interment will be in the Lititz Moravian Cemetery.
