Elva Mae Hein

Elva Mae Hein, 93, formerly of Elstonville, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Luther Acres, Lititz. Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late Menno and Verna Shank Hoffer. She was the loving wife of the late Clarence A. Hein who died in 2009. Elva retired as a seamstress at the former Donegal Industries. Following retirement, she helped her husband operate the former Hein’s Antiques, Elstonville. Elva was a member of the United Zion Church, Elizabethtown. Her interest included cooking, baking, antiques and puzzles. She loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald D. husband of Ann Martin Hein of Lititz, Barry E. Hein of Lancaster, two grandchildren, Deana R. wife of Eric Nordstrom of Conestoga, Dana R. wife of Michael Rice of Lancaster, three great grandchildren, Jason, Megan and Anders and a sister, Geraldine Swope of Manheim. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Elam and J. Kenneth Hoffer.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Rapho Township.
