Elizabeth H. "Lizzie" Pierce

Elizabeth H. “Lizzie” Pierce, 82, of Lititz passed away at home on Friday, January 29, 2016. Born in Chester County, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Landis Huber and Edna Harnish Huber. Lizzie was the loving wife of Jay R. Pierce and they would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in April. A homemaker, she also worked several years ago as a custodian at Manheim Township High School. Lizzie was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill, Lititz and she loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Nancy Grube, Roseann Pierce both of Lititz and Pauline wife of Glenn Nolt of Manheim, three grandchildren, two step grand-daughters, two great grandchildren, two step great grand-children and a sister, Betty Anderson of Paradise.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch-Heisey Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Memory Gardens, Ephrata. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Lizzie’s memory to the Lititz Fire Company No.1, P.O.
