Edward O. “Rosie” Rosenquist, 95, of Lititz, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Moravian Manor. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. he was the son of the late Thorvald and Engeline Jensen Rosenquist. Ed was the loving husband of Dorothy M. “Dot” Pierson Rosenquist and they observed their 66th wedding anniversary in September of this year. For over 38 years Ed worked as a supervisor for Alcoa Lancaster plant. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Ed was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lititz. He was a life member of Ridgefield Park, N.J. American Legion. Ed’s interests included vegetable and flower gardening, wood carving, and bowling in his early years.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Dorothy, are two daughters: Lorrie A. wife of Harry Wink of Lititz, Joanne wife of David Bini of East Windsor, N.J., a son, Skip Rosenquist companion of Yvonne Shoff of Lititz, five grandchildren: Aimee Lausch, Michelle Frost, Danielle Kilby, Adrienne Carroll, and Kyle Bini, and four great grandchildren. Preceding him in death is a sister, Helen Mihanowich.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ed’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM with additional viewing on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
