Edna H. Imhoff

Edna H. Imhoff, 90, of Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim, and formerly of 19 West Gramby Street Manheim, died peacefully, and went home to be with her Lord, on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lititz.

Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of the late William and Mamie Lyons Horst. Edna retired from Woodstream Corporation; previously she was employed for Wilbur Chocolate Company and the former Beford Shoe Company all of Lititz. She was the wife of the late Walter Imhoff who died in 1967. Edna was a faithful member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Manheim, and enjoyed her personal morning devotions. Her interests included: music, word-search puzzles, bingo, and trips to the shore. Throughout her life she had a passion for her family, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving is a son, Ronald L. husband of Donna Meyer Imhoff of New Holland, a daughter, Barbara A. wife of Michael Newton of Marietta, four grandchildren: Jeff Young, Lisa Young, Terry Imhoff, and Joshua Newton. Preceding her in death is a daughter, Janice F. Young, five brothers and two sisters.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church 2 South Hazel Street Manheim, PA on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 2:30 PM with Pastor James W. Roth and Pastor Richard Cummings officiating. Interment is in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. There will be a public viewing at the church on Thursday afternoon from 1:30 PM until the time of the service.
