Earl Frable

Earl Frable, 92, of Lititz, died peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025 at the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Alvin H. and Roma Weidman Frable. Earl was the loving husband of the late Jeanette S. Young Frable who died in March of 2020, following 70 years of marriage. For many years Earl was a well-known building contractor and stone mason where he developed Frable’s Mountain Top Development, in Denver. Earl was an accomplished master carpenter creating many fine furniture pieces for himself, and for family members. He was a true outdoorsman, a member of the NRA, and enjoyed spending time hunting in Tioga County. Earl and his family helped build the family cabin in Juniata County. In his early days he loved to root for his New York Yankees, and above all he had a passion for caring for animals and wildlife. Earl had a fun personality; he was quite the prankster, and his family and friends remember him for his great sense of humor. 

 Surviving are three daughters: Brenda Dearolf of Millersville, Beverly A. Brunner of Denver, Barbara wife of Dale Carbaugh of Ephrata, two sons: Gregory E. husband of Gloria Frable of Newmanstown, Randy Frable of Kleinfeltersville, 20 grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are two sons: Jeffrey Frable, Clint Frable, two sisters: Blanche Roth and Mae Weber, and three grandchildren. 

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Earl’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM There will be a viewing on Monday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Brickerville Emmanual Lutheran Cemetery.
