Douglas Mark Weitzel

Douglas Mark "Doug" Weitzel, 51, of Manheim died unexpectedly at home on Monday, October 3, 2011. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Raymond H. and Eileen Adams Weitzel of Lewes, Delaware. Doug worked at Johnson Controls, York in computer graphics. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Germania Band Club, Manheim. Doug loved to go deep sea fishing. Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother, Dale M. Weitzel companion of Krystal Bucher of Manheim, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Doug is also survived by his companion, Sharon White of Manheim. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Michael Weitzel. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
