Dorothy Mae Longer

Dorothy Mae Longer, 93, formerly of Lancaster died on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster. Born in Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Minnie Rudy Sahm. She was the loving wife of David F. Longer of Oak Leaf Manor, Landisville. Dorothy retired in 1994 as a sales clerk at the former Manheim Jewelry Company, Manheim. She liked to travel and enjoyed going to the beach. Surviving in addition to her husband are two brothers, Kenneth husband of Mary Lou Sahm of Lancaster and Jay Sahm of Manheim. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sylvan and Theodore Sahm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her graveside service at Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Sun Hill Road, Penn Township, Manheim on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM.
