Dorothy K. Brown

Dorothy K. "Dot" Brown, 86, of Mount Joy passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster. Born in Maytown, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Bertha Winters Kaley. She was the wife of the late William H. Brown who died in 2005. Retired in 1982, Dorothy worked at the former AMP Inc., Mount Joy. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Joy. Her interests included bowling, traveling, cooking, collecting ducks and flower gardening. Surviving are three children, Shirley A. Rahe, Dennis L. Brown and Kimberly A. wife of Mitchell Maurer all of Mount Joy. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kaley and a son-in-law, Loren Rahe. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 West Main Street, Mount Joy on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Mount Joy. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
