Dorothy B. Lehman

April 12, 1921 — January 9, 2011

Dorothy B. Lehman, 89, a former resident of Mount Joy for 81 years, and who had moved to Harrison, AR in 2003 to be closer to her children, died Sunday January 9, 2011 at the Hillcrest Home in Harrison, AR. She was the widow of the late Clarence H. Lehman who died in 1998, and to whom she was married to for 55 years. Born in Mount Joy she was the daughter of the late Samuel B. and Agnes Baker. Prior to Dorothy retiring, she had worked at the Masonic Village, Kreider Shoe Factory and the Lancaster Shoe Factory, all of Elizabethtown. Dorothy was a faithful member of Elizabethtown Grace Brethren Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia A. wife of Larry Bergman of Yellville AR, Carol M. wife of Joseph Doster of Harrison AR, Connie L. wife of Stanley Buss of Elk City, OK; eight grandchildren, and a brother in-law Franklin Greiner of Columbia. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Gary E. Lehman, and two sisters Esther Koser and Edith Greiner.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Friday January 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Timothy Placeway officiating. Interment will be in West Green Tree Church of the Brethren Cemetery. There will be a public viewing on Friday at the Heilig Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations in Dorothys memory may be sent to Hillcrest Home, 1111 Maplewood Rd., Harrison AR 72601.
