Doris W. Deck

Doris W. Deck, 68, of Silver Spring, died peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Charlotte Kraft White. A homemaker, Doris was the loving wife of Harold H. Deck for 45 years. She was a member of the White Oak Church of the Brethren, Manheim. Doris had a life-long passion for her cats.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Harold are three daughters: Brenda Deck, Ann wife of Robert Stefano all at home, D. Ruth wife of James Andrews of Columbia, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, two brothers: Clyde, and Glenn, and three sisters: Mary, Arlene, and Janet. Preceding her in death are three brothers: Ken, Paul, Ira Jr., and two sisters: Dorothy and Gloria.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the White Oak Church of the Brethren, 1211 North Penryn Road, Manheim, on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Friday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, PA 17545 to help defray funeral costs.
