Donna M. Burkhart

Donna M. Burkhart, 73, of Manheim, died peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Susquehanna Rehabilitation Health Care Center, Columbia. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Alvin H. and Eva N. Umble Nesinger. Donna was the loving wife of the late Walter A. Burkhart who died in September of 2003. For over 30 years Donna worked at Pleasant View Retirement Community. She was a member of Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, Manheim. 

  Surviving is a daughter, Jackie M. wife of Ronald E. Bires of Lititz, two grandsons: Brycen G. and Gavin J. Bires, both of Lititz, and two sisters: Deborah A. wife of David Linard of Penryn, and Dorothy L. Nesinger of Columbia. Preceding her in death is a sister, Doris E. Rohrer. 

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Donna’s Memorial Service at the Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, 4810 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Family requests casual dress and wear blue as it was Donna’s favorite color,  Friends may visit with the family at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster.
