Donald L. Miller, 87, of Lancaster, died April 19, 2018 at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. He was the husband of Patricia Bouder- Miller and celebrated 14 ½ years of marriage last August. Born in East Franklin Twp. (Armstrong Co.) he was the son of the late William McGown and Sarah Miller. Don was an over the road truck driver for most of his working life. Don was a member of the Lampeter Church of the Brethren, Willow Street. He was also a member of the Charles M. Howell Lodge #496 F&AM, Millersville, and a former member of the Christiana Lodge F&AM, and the Rough & Tumble Engineers Historical Association, Kinzers, and also enjoyed antique farm tractors, and talking politics.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Harry W. Miller (Melody), Kittanning, two step-sons Jack Bouder and Richard Fitzkee both of Lancaster; a daughter Heather Miller Heckman, Freeport, step-daughter Michelle Bouder Lengle (Stephen), Lancaster; two grandchildren Joshua and Emma Heckman, four step-grandchildren Nicole & Amy Bouder, Samantha Lengle, & Mya Eierman; and a brother Homer Marshall (Patty), Masontown.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at John S. Sell Memorial chapel at Masonic Village of Elizabethtown on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM. There will be a visitation with the family from 1:30 PM until the time of the service. Flowers will be accepted, but if desired, contributions in Don’s memory may be sent to Masonic Village Hospice, Office of Gift Planning, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown PA 17022.
