Donald H. "Don" Gochnauer

Donald H. “Don” Gochnauer, 84, of Manheim, died on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Alvena (Gibble) and the late Dorothy D. (Ditzler) Gochnauer.  Born in East Petersburg on August 25, 1939, he was the son of the late Henry B. and Almeda H. (Heistand) Gochnauer.

Don was a truck driver for ALCOA for 35 years and also worked for Stowaway Storage and the Manheim Auto Auction.  He was a member of Trinity E.C.C.  He enjoyed antiques.

He is survived by two daughters Lynn Neff and her husband Randy of Manheim, Lisa Gochnauer and her fiancé Jesse Davis of Lancaster; two step children Neal Hammer and his wife Brynn of Manheim, Brenda Gochenaur of Lancaster; a brother Robert Gochnauer and his wife Mary Ann on Lancaster; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two step sons Paul and Carl Hammer and a grandson Mitchel Hammer.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
