Donald E. Huber, 66, of Mount Joy, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his residence. He was the husband of Patti M. (Weaver) Huber, and they celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary this past December.
Born in Salunga, he was the son of the late Cyrus L. and Louise (Bleecher) Huber. He was currently employed at Fed-Ex as a trailer mechanic, and was previously employed as a driver for Watkins Trucking, and Central Transport, and was an owner/operator for 15 years. Don was a graduate of Hempfield High School. He took pride in his yard and flowers beds, he enjoyed drag racing, Chevys, and big trucks, and he enjoyed listening to Gospel, Oldies, and Country Western music, but his greatest love was for his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife Patti are two sons, Keith husband of Jennifer (Whistler) Huber of Mt. Wolf, and Donald L. husband of Bonnie Kulp of Lititz; two grandchildren Kayli Huber and Jordan L. Kulp; a brother Lester Huber of South Carolina, and a sister Anita Kirkpatrick of Mount Joy.
Relatives and friends are respectively invited to attend his funeral service at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Wednesday September 15, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor R. Edward Weaver officiating. Interment will be in East Fairview Church of the Brethren Cemetery. There will be a public viewing on Wednesday at Heilig Funeral Home from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Those attending are invited to come in causal attire.
