Donald E. "Bud" Fry

Donald E. “Bud” Fry, 80, of Lancaster, died Friday June 30, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Carol A. (Drum) Fry who died in 2005. Born in West Hempfield Twp., he was the son of the late Joseph D. and Almeda (Stauffer) Fry. Bud was a engineer at the former Heil Tank Co. of Lancaster before retiring. Bud enjoyed building and fixing things, and also enjoyed attending Pony Festivals for competitions.

Surviving is a brother Robert D. Sr. husband of Kitty Lou (Miller) Fry, Lancaster; a sister Jane wife of Ken Estep, Elizabethtown; sister in-law Lorine Fry, Albuquerque NM; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Paul G. and Richard A. Fry.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Friday July 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Silver Spring Cemetery. There will be a public viewing on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
