Donal M. Newcomer

Donal Newcomer, 95, formerly of Mount Joy, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. Born in Rapho Township, he was the son of the late Harvey and Anna Mumma Newcomer. Donal was the loving husband of the late Jacqueline Hall Newcomer who passed away in October of 2018 after 70 years of marriage. For many years, Donal and Jacqueline were dairy farmers in Rapho Township. In his earlier years, Donal enjoyed hunting, golfing, and Big Band Music. After retiring from farming, Donal and Jacqueline became snowbirds and wintered in Florida. He was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church, Mount Joy for 81 years.

Donal is survived by two sons, Michael Newcomer, husband of Nancy Jean Newcomer of Lancaster and Jack Newcomer, husband of Anne Newcomer of Mount Joy, a daughter, Suzanne Kopp, wife of Edwin Kopp of Manheim, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Newcomer.
