Dolores M. Saylor, 77, of Lititz, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Born in Elm, she was the daughter of the late William E. and M. Mae Beard Weachter. Dolores was the owner and operator of the former Tot-To-Teen Shop Manheim for twenty years; previously she was a supervisor for twenty years in the payroll department for the former Raymark Industries, Manheim. She was the loving wife of Barry C. Saylor and they would have observed their 53rd wedding anniversary in November of this year. Dolores was a lifelong active and faithful member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Penryn, where she served on the Altar Guild, helped with church suppers, and knitted prayer shawls and lap robes. Her interests included: knitting, crocheting, gardening, reading and cooking. Her life's passion was her family, and she devoted herself to being active in participating in all activities with her children, and grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband, is a son, Greg husband of Donna Balmer of Boulder, CO., four daughters: Bridget Miller wife of the late Terry Miller of Lafayette, CO., Kim wife of Rick Becker of Elizabethtown, Robin wife of David Hilliard of Manheim, Kelly wife of Mike Ober of Lititz, eight grandchildren, and two great granddaughters. Preceding her in death are two brothers: William D. and Gerald "Chub" Weachter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Penryn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
