Delbert Ray Flowers, Sr.

Delbert Ray Flowers Sr., 85, formerly of Mount Joy, passed away on Saturday October 22, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Bainbridge, he was the son of the late Jacob and Evelyn Morgan Flowers. He was the husband of Jestine Lehman Flowers and they would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in November. Delbert retired as a brick mason at Witmer & McCoy Inc. He was a member of the English Presbyterian Church, Marietta and he proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. He was preceded in death by his son, Delbert Ray Flowers Jr. and three brothers. Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
