Debra Ann Zerphy

Debra Ann Zerphy, 64, of Mount Joy, died peacefully surrounded by her family at Hospice and Community Care on Monday January 1, 2018. Born in Lancaster she is the daughter of Betty Jane (Frey) Thomas of Mount Joy and the late Howard Thomas. Debra was a Branch Manager for Fulton Bank in Mount Joy, and prior to this she was employed by the former AMP, Inc. of Mount Joy. She was a graduate of Hempfield High School class of 1971. Debra attended Community Bible Church, Marietta. She was an avid collector of Longaberger Baskets, she was a member of the Red Hat Society of Mount Joy, season ticket holder to the Lancaster Barnstormer’s, and enjoyed attending shows at the Fulton Theater and the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater.

Surviving in addition to her mother is a son James R. Zerphy, III and his girlfriend Tara Emenheiser, Mount Joy; two grandchildren Debbie and Jamie Zerphy; a brother Howard Michael husband of Brenda Thomas, Lawrenceville PA; a sister Dawn wife of Rudy Davis, Bristol TN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services for Debra will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions in Debra’s memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster PA 17603.
