Deborah A. “Deb” Nauman, 64, of Manheim passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Wesley C. Kurtz Jr. and Pamela Stephan Schaeffer. She was the loving wife of the late Douglas L. Nauman who died in 2016. Deb worked as a shipping clerk for Fenner Drives, Manheim. She was a member of Hempfield Church of the Brethren. Her interests included cooking, baking, hunting, bowling, playing bingo and she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving is a daughter, Crystal “Kris” wife of Michael Fisher of Manheim, four grandchildren, Corey, Jaime, Jordan, Cole and six siblings, David and Dale Kurtz, Charles Schaeffer, Stephanie Schaeffer, Sharon Wise and Tammy Carpenter. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Bonnie Kurtz and Stoney Schaeffer.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Deb’s Funeral Service at the Hempfield Church of the Brethren, corner of Stevens Street and Metzler Road, East Petersburg on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Manheim. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Deb’s memory to the American Heart Association, P.O.
