David Daub, 62 of Mt. Joy PA died Thursday, November 4 at his home. He was born March 29, 1959 in Allentown PA, and began his life in Tower City PA. His parents were William “Bill” and Anna Shope Daub. His father Bill died in 1997, and mother Anna died in 2020. David and his mother were very close and he missed her very much.
David was a 1978 graduate of Ephrata High School and studied Travel and Tourism at the Southeastern Academy. He worked for Red Lobster in Lancaster for 44 years and was recognized for his knowledge of and passion for serving his customers with care and respect.
Dave was a happy and kind person who was always willing to help anyone. He loved animals and volunteered at 2nd Chance for Life Rescue – The Rescue Ranch where he helped in every area he could, especially sitting in a chair and being covered by fur buddies. He also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sharing jokes and loving messages with his Facebook Family. One of his all-time favorite foods was a Mione’s Pizza made in Tower City PA. He always enjoyed when his cousin brought him a “pie from home”.
He is survived by a brother Steven Daub, Lititz PA, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and lots of special friends.
