Darryl M. Yohn, 85, of Manheim passed away December 4, 2024. He was born in West Fairview, PA, son of the late David M. Yohn, Sr. and Mary A. (Thomas) Yohn.

Darryl graduated Manheim Central High School with the class of 1957. He received his Vocational Education II permanent teaching certificate for the state of PA through Penn State. Darryl taught in each of the three vocational technical schools in Lancaster County for 23 years. Prior to teaching, he was the owner of Yohn's Texaco Service Station in East Petersburg for 18 years. Darryl served 4 years in the Navy. He was a member of the Baltimore Yacht Club since 1993 where he held officer status for three years and then served as Commodore of the club in 1999. Darryl enjoyed his family, baseball, boating, camping, and traveling. Darryl is a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, FL. 

In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by three daughters. Cheryl A. Yohn, Lititz; Debra A., wife of Rick Woodcock, Manheim; Gloria S. Conner, Manheim. Eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Darryl is survived by his brother Daniel M. Yohn, Manheim. He was preceded in death by sisters Joanne (Shelly) Yohn, Manheim; Carol (Thompson) Yohn, Tennessee; brothers Ronald Yohn, Manheim; David M. Yohn, Jr., North Fort Myers, FL; Lynwood L. Yohn, Palmyra.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Darryl’s Graveside Service at Manheim Fairview Cemetery, 98 West Sun Hill Road, Manheim on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
