Daniel P. “Pat” Nissley, 87, of Annville and formerly of Manheim passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born in Rapho Township, he was the son of the late Ralph M. and Catherine Quinn Nissley. He was the husband of the late Betty J. Ritter Nissley who died in 1976. He proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. Pat retired after 39 years from the Fuller Company, Manheim. He was a member of the Manheim VFW Post #5956, Manheim Fire Company, and Pioneer Hunting Camp, Potter County for over 60 years. Pat had a love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping which kept him active most of his life.
Surviving is a daughter, Sandra L. Boose of Mount Joy and a sister, Dorothy Ann wife of Robert Oberholtzer of Cleona. He will be missed by many friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Memorial Service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM. There will be a visitation with the family from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Manheim Fairview Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
