Dale G. Johnson

Dale G. Johnson, 69, of Lititz, died on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Born in LaPorte, Indiana he was the son of the late Richard E. and Eddie Jean Blackenship Johnson. He was the husband of 46 years to Linda K. Johnson. For the past two years Dale worked as a driver for Lebanon Valley Farms; previously he was employed for over 25 years at Alcoa, Lancaster. He served in the Marines Corps. during the Vietnam War. Dale was a member of New Covenant Christian Church, Washington Boro., where he volunteered as a sound technician for worship services. He was a former member of the Warwick Republican Committee. His interests included snow skiing and golfing.

Surviving in addition to his wife Linda, is a son, Chad husband of Emilie Destruel Johnson of Iowa City, IA., a daughter, Christa Jackson of Columbia, and six grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dale’s memorial service on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at New Covenant Christian Church, 253 Charlestown Road, Washington, Boro. at 7:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Thursday evening from 6:30 PM until the time of the service.
