Dale E. Irvin

June 14, 1956 — March 23, 2015

Dale E. Irvin, 58, of Allentown, formerly of Mount Joy, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Naomi (Kraybill) Irvin of Mount Joy and the late Ellsworth Irvin. Dale worked as a pharmaceutical assistant for the former Wyeth Labs of Marietta for 24 years and currently for Mack Trucks, Inc. of Macungie. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Haas) Irvin with whom he celebrated 37 years of marriage in December 2014. Dale was a member of the American Legion- Walter Ebersole Post # 185 of Mount Joy where he was a former D.J., a member of the Bath American Legion, and past Commander of V.F.W. Post # 5752 of Mount Joy. He enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, NASCAR, and the Hershey Bears Hockey team.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is a son, Sean Irvin of Mount Joy, a daughter, Marina Irvin of Allentown, four grandchildren, a brother, Steve Irvin of Manheim and a brother-in-law, Scott Baker of Mount Joy. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Bethel Baker.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Graveside Service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM. There will be a public viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 West Main Street, Mount Joy, PA on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 4:00 PM till 6:00 PM.
