D. Jean Tustin

  D. Jean Tustin, 96, of East Petersburg, died peacefully on Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Born in Sistersville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Arlie R. and Fonda L. Folger Heintzman. A homemaker, she was the loving wife of the late Paul E. Tustin who died in June of 2021 following 73 years of marriage. Jean was a devoted minister’s wife, and supported Paul as he served as a missionary in India, and Africa; and later as a Pastor and Bible teacher for Church of Christ. She was an active and faithful member of Conestoga Valley Church of Christ, Lancaster. She was a kind, gentle, and humble servant helping people wherever she could; and being faithful to her family whom she loved and cherished.

   Surviving are two sons: Ross husband of Darlene Tustin of Willow Street, Paul husband of Lori Tustin of Goshen, IN, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are two brothers: Ed and Ross Heintzman.
