D. Faye Fitzpatrick

        D. Faye Fitzpatrick, 92, of Mount Joy, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Neffsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the loving wife of the late John Lester, Donald Zubrod, and Allison Fitzpatrick. Born in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Jones) Gindlesperger. Faye was a teacher assistant and child care worker before retiring. She enjoyed painting, reading, ceramics, dancing, and spending time with her family.

      Surviving are four children, Lynn, wife of Thomas Wright, Kitchener, Ontario, Joanne, wife of the late Frank Berta, Kearneysville, WV, James Lester, Luray, VA, Dawna, wife of Scott Pritt, Mount Joy; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter. In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by a son, John Lester, two great-grandsons, Noah Wright and Aiden J. Printz, other angel baby losses, and a sister Sandra Cole.

      Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy on Saturday July 6, 2024 at 11: 00 AM. There will be a time of viewing and visitation with the family on Friday at the funeral home from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, and again on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment in Armaugh Cemetery will be private. Contributions in Faye’s memory may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2595 Interstate Dr. Suite 100, Harrisburg PA 17110-9378.
