Connie C. Shenenberger, 83, of Lititz, and formerly of Manheim, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at UPMC Hospital, Lititz. Born in Hopeland, she was the daughter of the late Homer H. and Elsie Weachter Conrad. Connie was the loving wife of the late J. Carl “Shenny” Shenenberger who died in October 2010 following 51 years of marriage. She was a 1958 graduate of Manheim Central High School. For many years Connie worked as an administrative assistant for area companies until her retirement in 2006 from Protective Bureau in Exton. Carl and Connie moved to Nashville, TN, to be closer to their family and to help take care of their grandson. Connie was a member of Cloyds Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mt. Juliet, TN. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, spending time with family and friends, word search puzzles, and flowers. A life-long Phillies Fan, Connie was told at an early age that she was named Connie, after Hall of Fame, professional catcher, manager, and team owner, Connie Mack, who managed the Philadelphia Athletics for 50 years and won five world series titles. Her enthusiasm for sports ran deep in her backing for the Phillies or the 76’ers teams. Connie’s deepest passionate support was in attending and rooting for her grandson during his baseball games.
Surviving is a daughter, Simone C. wife of Matthew J. Easler of Lititz, a grandson, Conrad Joseph “C. J.” Easler of Lititz, and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank UPMC Lititz, and Visiting Angels, for the care and compassion provided to Connie.
