Clinton K. Dommel, 61, of East Petersburg, died Thursday October 28, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Charyl (Herr) Dommel, and they celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary this past July. Born in Lancaster, he is the son of George Dommel of Mountville and the late Rhoda (Whitcraft) Dommel. Clint was Director of Associate Machining Group for MicroFacture of Mountville, where he was employed for the past 43 years. Clint was a graduate of Hempfield High School class of 1967 and the former Thaddeus Stevens Trade School of Lancaster.
Clint enjoyed his antique and classic cars, lawn care and landscaping, was a member of the NRA, but his greatest joy in life was his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are three sons, Samuel husband of Cathy Dommel of Lititz, J. Andrew of Mountville, Adam husband of Lauren Dommel of Manheim; four grandchildren Drew, Olivia, Addisen, and Lakyn; and three sisters, Jessie wife of Glenn Quillin of Nottingham, Georgia wife of Ray Becker of Elizabethtown, and Correen wife of Andrew Eck of Cornwall. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at the Lititz Church of the Brethren, 300 W. Orange St., Lititz PA, on Saturday November 6, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Stephen R. Hess officiating. Interment in Manheim Fairview Cemetery will be private. There will be a time of visitation with the family immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers contributions in Clints memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
