Clifford L. White, 81,of Aurora, Colorado, and formerly of Manheim, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Denver Hospice Center in Denver, Colorado. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Lester L. and Mabel Shank White. He was the owner and operator of Cliff's Barber Shop located on the square in Manheim for fifteen years. Cliff was also involved in sales for several appliance repair companies retiring in 1998. He was a United States Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. Cliff was the loving husband of Marian F. Wilson White and they observed their 58th wedding anniversary in December of last year. He was a 1949 graduate of Manheim Central High School and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Lancaster. Cliff had a life-long passion for sports of all types and he enthusiastically enjoyed rooting for his favorite teams the Philadelphia Phillies and the Hershey Bears. His other interests included traveling and photography. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Jeffrey C. White of Colorado Springs, CO., Brian D. White of Firestone, CO., and four granddaughters: Allison, Shauna, Ashley, and Haley. Preceding him in death was his oldest son, Thomas L. White. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
