Clifford E. Denlinger

March 18, 1926 — January 26, 2010

Clifford E. Denlinger, 83, formerly of East Petersburg died on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster. Born in Paradise, he was the son of the late Irvin and Mary Hostetter Denlinger. He was the husband of the late Anna Martha Groff Denlinger who died in 2009. Clifford was a self-employed building contractor, who built more than 100 homes in Lancaster County. He was a member of East Petersburg Mennonite Church.
Surviving are three children, Charmayne married to Omer Brubaker, Lancaster, Philip Denlinger married to Joan Urban, Monsey, NY and Bethany Denlinger married to Leonard Moses, Chesterfield, VA; six grandchildren; a sister, Jane married to Clarence Siegrist, Neffsville; three brothers, Leon married to Donalene Denlinger, York, Carl Denlinger married to Arcenia Rosal, Philadelphia, Nelson married to Ruth Denlinger, Bethesda, MD. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Martin and a son, Steven Denlinger, whose fiance Gayle Orczyk, with her two children remains part of the family circle.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at East Petersburg Mennonite Church 6279 Main Street East Petersburg, PA on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the church on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
