Clayton W. Bartlett, 91, of Manheim passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born in Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late Robert and Minnie Mae Graysley Bartlett. He was the husband of Helen Myers Bartlett and they would have celebrated thirty years of marriage in April. Clayton retired as an electrician for over twenty years at RCA, Lancaster. Following retirement, he worked part-time at the Manheim Auto Auction for over fifteen years. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WW II. Clayton also graduated from Thaddeus Stevens Trade School, Lancaster as an electrician. He was a member of the Manheim VFW Post 5956 and Manheim American Legion Post 419. His interests included bowling, darts and billiards.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, James C. husband of Ilene Bartlett, Thomas C. Bartlett both of Ephrata, a daughter, Faye, two step daughters, Joy Groff of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mary Groff of Mount Joy, two step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster with military honors. Please omit flowers.
