Clarence R. Carper, Jr., 68, of Mount Joy, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday March 14, 2014. He was the husband of Debra Meminger Carper. Born in Altoona he was the son of the late Clarence R. Sr. and Eileen (Coover) Carper. Clarence was a carpenter for Wickersham Construction & Engineering after 20 years before retiring in 2010. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy doing three tours of duty from 1968 to 1974.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter Pamela wife of Dale Frye of Tyrone, a son Clarence R. “Charlie” Carper, III and his fiancée Tiffany Myers of Columbia; five grandchildren Josh, Kate, Regan, Brandon, and Maurice; two great-grandchildren; and a sister Donna wife of Robert Bratton of Tyrone.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his graveside service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Thursday March 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
