Christopher "Jared" Thomas Sr.

Christopher “Jared” Thomas Sr., 35, of Mountville, and formerly of Kissimmee, FL, passed away at his home on Sunday August 6, 2017. Born in Lancaster, Jared was the son of Elizabeth Gordon Thomas Fake of Derry, and the late Robert M. Thomas. He was the loving husband of Sherry Jackson Thomas and they observed their ninth wedding anniversary in May of this year. Jared enjoyed spending time with his son whom he loved dearly and had a love for rap and rock music; particularly the band Korn. He had a passion for cars especially muscle cars, and enjoyed working on them as well as computers and electronics. Jared was employed by Fine Cuts Co., York.

Surviving in addition to his wife, and mother, is a son, Christopher Jared Thomas Jr., a step son, Colby R. Tate, a step daughter, Christina K. Rivera, a step grandson, Logan Tate, and two sisters, Tara L. wife of Cody Quidetto, Tiffany R. wife of Scott Reisinger, a niece, Isabella, two nephews, Scott and Chase, paternal grandparents, Paul Thomas and Janet Godard and a maternal grandmother, Jane Gordon.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jared’s memorial service on Sunday August 13, 2017 at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, at 3:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
